Founded by Matthew Chadwick, an American educator whose life path led him to the Philippines, Opulent Oro is more than a jewelry brand—it’s a heartfelt expression of love, heritage, and intention. Inspired by his Filipina wife, Matthew immersed himself in the culture, eventually discovering the rare treasure that would change everything: South Sea pearls.
Over nearly two decades, he cultivated a deep appreciation for these natural wonders—nurtured in silence beneath the waves, touched only by time and care. What began as admiration grew into a vision: to share the quiet luxury of South Sea pearls with the world, framed in the timeless elegance of 18K gold.

Rather than sell directly to the public, we partner with premier jewelry retailers across the West Coast of the United States through exclusive MEMO agreements—a modern model built on trust, flexibility, and shared success.

“Oro” means gold in both Spanish and Filipino. It reflects the richness of our materials, the warmth of our origins, and the radiant energy carried in every piece we create.
